IMPORTANT DETAILS
- The COJO Assistantship provides a monthly stipend plus a remission of tuition and fees. Students are responsible for the A&S computer fee and textbooks, including those purchased through StartRight+.
- International students are required to prove an exceptional command of English, including previous experience in an American English speaking environment or an English speaking education.
- Graduate assistantships are typically awarded for one year, with a possible second-year renewal for students who meet their academic and teaching responsibilities, unless the assistantship is granted only in the program’s second year.
- Only a few COJO GTAs are available each year, so the assistantships are very competitive. Students who begin their graduate program without an assistantship and are successful in the program are given priority when assistantships do become available.

In addition, a limited amount of financial assistance is available through COJO Scholarships.
