Biography
Dr. Min Jung Lee is an Assistant Professor of Elementary Science Education in the
School of Teaching Education at the University of Wyoming. She earned her Ph.D. in
Science Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and her B.S. in Chemistry
from Kyung Hee University in Seoul, South Korea. Prior to joining the University of
Wyoming, Dr. Lee was a postdoctoral researcher on two large-scale NSF-funded projects
at Old Dominion University and the University of North Dakota, where she studied preservice
teachers' self-efficacy and knowledge for teaching engineering and supported rural
elementary teachers' science and engineering practices through professional learning.
Her research focuses on elementary science and engineering education, with particular
attention to teachers' professional learning and growth, self-efficacy, and knowledge.
