ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The College of Education has separate admission requirements from the University. Students must meet the requirements based on their classification upon entering the program.

Freshmen

• ACTE scores: 21 comp and 21 math
• SAT composite score of 1060 with a minimum SAT Math score of 530
• Math Placement Exam (MPE) score of a 2 or higher.
  • *This will replace an ACT Math score below 21 or an SAT Math score below 530.

Transfer

• 2.75 transfer cumulative GPA
• minimum 15 college credits

Change of Major within the University

• Change of Major form
• Background Check
• UW GPA of 2.75 or higher with at least 15 UW credit hours

Graduate Certificate Programs

• BA/BS (ect.) from accredited university or college
• 3.0 graduating cumulative GPA
• Praxis score for content knowledge
