Geochemistry of surface and ground waters; weathering processes, particularly effects of organic acids and plants; global geochemical cycles; effects of acid deposition on surface waters; chemical and microbial aspects of contaminant migration; environmental impacts of mining; geochemical aspects of waste disposal.
