What to Expect:
Sonographers, physicians, residents, students, and all healthcare professionals, please join us for an ultrasound education conference!
This conference will be held in Laramie, Wyoming, with a wide variety of ultrasound topics. Attendees can earn up to 12 CME credits approved by the SDMS!
The University of Wyoming is here to support the sonography profession and is excited to offer this opportunity!

- Are you a sonographer who would benefit from in depth lectures? Or are you a student looking to gain extra insight about your career? Attend our conference for sonographers in Laramie! A detailed schedule will be uploaded to this website, so keep an eye out for more information.
- Physicans and other healthcare professionals are welcome to join in on the fun as well!
- Wyoming residents will NOT have to pay a registration fee.
- Out of state attendees will have a small registration fee.
- The preliminary material that will be covered includes:

- The attendee can expect 4 days worth of POCUS specific materials
- You may attend all 4 days or just attend the days that you specifically missed.

Professional Development Financial Support
The Helmsley Ultrasound Initiative is providing financial support for sonographers and aspiring sonographers. Through this support, applicants can submit their costs for CME's to be reimbursed. Along with this, individuals who are interested in attending ultrasound school have the opportunity to receive financial assistance.

About the Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust
The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust has granted money to the state of Wyoming to purchase ultrasound machines and provide training to healthcare staff. The training is primarily focused on Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS). A goal of this initiative is to elevate the quality of patient care through the use of ultrasound.
