Division of Kinesiology & HealthPAUL STOCK FOUNDATION HEALTH SCIENCES SCHOLARSHIP
College of Health Sciences
Paul Stock (1894-1972) was born in Florence, Colorado. He started in the oil business as a roughneck at 15. One biographer says he was hard-nosed, hard-playing, hard-working, and hard-living. He had a kind and generous heart, a western-style sense of humor, and a great deal of affection for children. He organized the Paul Stock Foundation in 1957 to help students get a higher education. This year, the Paul Stock Foundation has established a $1.4 million endowment for scholarships and programs at the University of Wyoming -- including annual support for the Division of Kinesiology and Health.
Application Criteria
The Paul Stock Foundation Scholarship is awarded annually to one or more kinesiology and health majors who demonstrate academic success and have financial need to assist them in furthering their undergraduate education.
