Biography
Francesca King is the director for the UW Writing Center and a coordinator for the Communicate Across the Curriculum (CxC) program. She gained her MA in English & Creative Writing from the University of London, and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Wyoming in 2019. Her novels have been shortlisted for the Lucy Cavendish Fiction Prize, and the Bath Novel Award. She received grant funding for research trips to Iceland and participated in the Arctic Circle Residency in 2019. Francesca teaches Technical Writing, in addition to Step into College and other first-year courses.
