Required qualifications
Before you apply, check and see if you meet the minimum job qualifications.

- Successful completion of Calculus I & II with a B average or higher AND either
- Linear Algebra or Differential Equations with a B or higher OR
- demonstrated proficiency with tutoring (CRLA certification)
- Successful completion of STAT 2050 with a B or higher AND either
- Calculus I and COSC 1010 or COSC 1030 with a B average or higher or
- a 3000 or 4000-level stats class with a B or higher
- demonstrated proficiency with tutoring (CRLA certification)
Available to tutor for a minimum of four hours per week and attend a minimum of two hours of training per week.
- Be prompt and present at all assigned shifts
- Assist students on a drop-in basis (in the CASM or Step Satellite) or one-on-one basis (in STEP) with anything from homework questions, exam reviews, study skills, or general mathematics/statistics questions.
- Attend a weekly mathematics/statistics content training meeting.
- Complete CRLA level 1 certification within your first year.
- Demonstrate a willingness to improve as a tutor.
- Demonstrate a willingness to master core subject material.
