About Our Program

The mathematics and statistics department faculty are dedicated to its undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate programs through a passion for teaching, a deep commitment to research and discovery, and by demonstrating significant relevance to a large number of other intellectual fields in science, engineering, economics and business.


The department strives to nurture and prepare its own students for successful careers in the statistical and mathematical sciences, whether in academic, governmental or industrial positions. It also strives to provide the foundation for studying and mastering all other fields that use mathematics and statistics.

Center for Assistance with Statistics and Mathematics (CASM)

The Center for Assistance with Statistics and Mathematics (CASM) offers free, in-person, drop-in (no appointment needed) tutoring for students who are looking for mathematics or statistics help. Our tutors are qualified to help students enrolled in most math and stats courses up to the 3000 level (with occasional help available for higher-level courses).

MATH 0925/1400 Request

Students who wish to enroll in Math 925/1400 must complete a registration request form, as this course cannot be added through WyoWeb.
