Department of Music

The Department of Music offers many different ensembles which provide students with an abundance of activities and performance opportunities.  Most of our students perform in multiple ensembles.

• Bands - Western Thunder Marching Band, Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Community Concert Band

• Percussion Ensemble and Pan Band

• Jazz Ensembles - Instrumental Jazz Ensembles, Jazz Combos, Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Faculty Jazztet

• Choirs - Collegiate Chorale, Singing Statesmen, Women's Chorus, Laramie/University of Wyoming Civic Chorus, Vocal Jazz Ensemble, The Happy Jacks

• Symphony Orchestra

• Chamber Orchestra

• Music of Bali: Gamelan (open to everyone)
