Guest Artists/Adjudicators
We are very excited about this year's all-star lineup of amazing guest artists! Learn more below!
School Performances
ALL student performances and warm-up will take place in the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts (BCPA) on the UW campus (see the campus map or Google maps for the BCPA location).
The Registration Check-In Table will be located in the BCPA main lobby. Visit our on-line schedule to find out when you perform.
WARM-UPS: After check in, band guides will lead each group to their warm-up room 30 minutes before their performance. Each performing group will have a 30-minute warm up. The warm-up room will have chairs, stands, drum set, cymbals, piano, guitar amp, and bass amp.
PERFORMANCE INFO: Performances will take place in the BCPA Concert Hall, Main Stage Theatre, and Recital Hall*. Each school group is allotted 30-minutes on stage (including set up/tear down). Once the performance is ended, adjudicators will provide an on-stage clinic with any time remaining in the 30-minute slot (i.e., a group performing for 20 minutes will receive an ~10-minute clinic), thereby allowing directors to choose how to use the total time allotted. A 30-minute performance will not receive an on-stage clinic. Please do not exceed the 30 min limit for performance and set up/tear down. *All vocal groups will perform in the Recital Hall, which is acoustically designed to project the voice; microphones will not be provided for vocal groups.
FEEDBACK: All participants will receive recorded comments during the performance from the adjudicators. All comments and ratings are confidential. After your performance, please pick up your adjudication packet at the Registration Table. Directors ARE NOT required to provide scores for adjudicators.
