Remote workers and guests looking for short-term workstations on the University of Wyoming campus now have a new option.
UW Operations has opened “Hoteling Space” in Merica Hall -- seven workstations each with a desk; a computer monitor, cables, keyboard and mouse; and access to a printer/copier/scanner. Laptop connections also are available.
The Merica Hall Hoteling Space is designated space for remote workers when they need to be on campus for meetings, half a day, or other short-term use. The space also can be used by those in the Merica Hall area of campus for a short time. And it can be used by UW guests, such as visiting faculty members or other official campus visitors.
The workstations are available year-round, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. One station has a desktop computer; one space is a reservable conference table; and there are one or two stations per room, so shared space is available.
For more information, visit the space allocation web page. People are encouraged to reserve workstations ahead of time by going to 25Live Merica Hall Hoteling. For step-by-step instructions, go here.
Merica Hall is located on UW’s main campus at the intersection of 11th Street and Ivinson Avenue. Merica Hall is not an Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant facility; there are several steps into the building.
Those needing accessible hoteling space, or with questions about the Merica Hall hoteling space, should call UW’s Space Allocation Office at (307) 766-2648 or email space@uwyo.edu.
