Sigma Theta Tau Induction

SIGMA THETA TAU INTERNATIONAL, INC. is the National Honor Society of Nursing. The University of Wyoming chapter, Alpha Pi, was chartered in 1966. The purpose of the organization is to recognize superior achievement, recognize the development of leadership qualities, foster high professional standards, encourage creative work, and strengthen commitment to the ideals and purposes of the profession.
The Fay W. Whitney School of Nursing hosts the Sigma Theta Tau Induction Ceremony in the fall during graduation weekend. Membership is by invitation only. We encourage our graduating students who are being inducted to participate in this ceremony.
