Grand Teton National Park Internships

2026 Internship applications are now open! Deadline to apply: 5:00pm MST on March 15, 2026

Grand Teton National Park is seeking people to fill two internship positions. One is a science communications internship to assist in communicating important scientific findings to the public. The other is a vegetation science and resource management internship who will primarily focus on sagebrush ecosystems.

Housing will be provided at the AMK Ranch at UW-NPS Research station in Grand Teton National Park. These positions will be hired through UW and will report to a supervisor with the National Park Service.

UW Institute at AMK Ranch Research Station Summer Employment

2026 Summer Staff Applications are now open! Apply by March 2, 2026. 

We have job openings at the UW-NPS Research station for seasonal Summer Staff. Housing is provided at the station for these positions. 

This is a great opportunity to spend the summer in Grand Teton National Park, living and working at a field research station. We seek applicants who are comfortable working odd hours, and interacting with researchers and members of the public. The primary responsibilities of the job are day to day tasks that support the field station and the researchers living there – cleaning, checking in visitors, helping with public events, and serving as an on-call person as needed.

The ideal summer staff member will be a fully integrated and contributing part of the station community – inclusive, excited to learn, self-motivated, and hard-working.
