Sarah Konrad has been appointed Director of the Wyoming Socio-Environmental Systems Observatory Network (SEaSON), a pioneering initiative dedicated to monitoring and understanding how environmental changes affect both natural and human systems across Wyoming. 

Konrad previously served as Associate Director of WyACT, where she played a key role from the program’s inception, leading project reporting, evaluation, and coordination. She holds a PhD in Geology with a specialization in glaciology.

As SEaSON’s director, she will guide the effort to build a sustainable center that will carry forward and expand upon the  environmental and social data monitoring work begun during the WyACT grant.
