Sarah Collins Sarah Collins Named UW Research Institute Director at AMK Ranch

Sarah Collins, an associate professor in the University of Wyoming Department of Zoology and Physiology, has been appointed as the new Research Institute director of the UW Research Center at the AMK Ranch in Grand Teton National Park.

Understanding how Wyomingites think about and relate to water is the topic of Pallavi Pokharel’s master’s thesis. For this, she interviewed 43 farmers/ranchers and recreationists in the Snake River and Green River basins. Her research is one component of UW’s WyACT: Wyoming Anticipating Climate Transitions project, a five-year program funded by the National Science Foundation.
