Help! I Can't Connect to the Internet

Rogue Device

A Rogue device is a device that is running a DHCP server.  Typically it will hand out bad IP address and will not allow other devices to connect to the Internet.  UWIT and ResNet disable the ports of such devices so that quality of services for all customers can be maintained.

If you suspect that your port might have been disabled by such an event, please remove the device from the network and visit the Walk-In Service Center with the device in tow. After we gather the information required we will work to have the port reactivated which could take up to two business days.
