Brandock Cook Bio

I earned a Ph.D. In Molecular Oncology and Immunology from New York University in 2008. I completed postdoctoral training at Weill Cornell Medicine in 2013, after which I joined the research faculty of the Department of Surgery, working on small molecule drug discovery in regenerative medicine as Assistant Professor of Cell and Developmental Biology until 2021. Following that, I served as Director of R&D for a small biotechnology company.
I joined CASI as Director in November 2025, and I look forward to helping facilitate the research and strategic goals of the UW scientific community. I enjoy skiing and mountain biking whenever I can get out to the mountains.
