Thank you for your interest in the University of Wyoming’s Upward Bound/Upward Bound
Math Science Program!
Upward Bound is a grant-funded program from the U.S. Department of Education. The purpose of our program is to prepare students to graduate from high school and college. All eligible students should apply. Students who are accepted must participate in weekly sessions and mandatory summer sessions throughout high school.
Students must meet certain federal guidelines such as income and first-generation verification to qualify. Students must attend high school in the following locations:
The application process involves students and parents/guardians completing the form
below, as well as a letter of recommendation and an official report card. Finalists
and their parents/guardians will be contacted by their local coordinator and can assist
in any further paperwork or application completion. There are a limited number of
available spaces for Upward Bound, so it is important that your completed application
be submitted as soon as possible.
Please know that Upward Bound enforces the United States Department of Education guidelines to ensure confidentiality and to strictly guard your family's private information. The information you provide is required for eligibility reasons.
Once you request an application, your local coordinator will contact you to provide their contact information and a link to fill out the application.
Any questions may be directed to your local coordinator or our Project Director, Felicia Killworth, at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
