Eligibility
- Upward Bound or Upward Bound Math Science Student
- Graduating with a high school diploma in Spring 2026
- Successfully completed at least one UB/UBMS summer program with a grade of C or higher in all classes
- Applied and been accepted for admission to the University of Wyoming for the summer 2026 session
- Have applied and been accepted for admission to a college or university for the fall 2026 semester
- In good standing with the UB/UBMS Program
- A cumulative High School GPA of 3.00

No. You have to be attending a university or college in fall of 2026, but it does not have to be the University of Wyoming.
Bridge Scholars are allowed to work part-time jobs, but if your work responsibilities interfere with your work as a Bridge Scholar you will be expected to resign from your job.
Bridge Scholars get a stipend of $30 every two weeks for the length of their summer classes.
As a bridge scholar you must maintain a GPA of 2.0.
Yes. You will get to choose your own classes with help from Upward Bound coordinators. However, any changes to courses after that will have to be approved by UB/UBMS.
