According to the Gillette News Record, Cloud Peak Energy has pushed back the it's auction date until August 15th. This is after previously being pushed back from August 1st.
According to the American Wind Energy Association, Wyoming is hosting 12% of wind energy development with 4,831 MW currently in construction or development.
Two new wind energy projects gain permitting approval in Carbon and Albany counties. The projects are expected to be completed in 2021.
The Belle Ayr and Eagle Butte mines have been approved to be sold back to their previous owner, Contura, as part of Blackjewel LLC's bankruptcy. This sale will allow the mines that have been shut down for the last month to resume production.
