Energy Frontier: The Wyoming Landscape Podcast
The “Energy Frontier: The Wyoming Landscape” podcast brings together academic researchers, industry professionals, students, policy makers, and more to explore energy topics, including SER’s research efforts and developing Wyoming projects. The platform allows listeners to become more familiar with Wyoming’s intimate history with energy, as well as an opportunity to learn more about emerging technologies and the landscape of Wyoming’s energy future. Additionally, the podcast examines energy trends, offers fresh insights and promotes a better understanding of today’s energy issues, solutions and careers.

The Critical Mineral Leadership Academy (CMLA) will take place Aug. 3-10 in Laramie. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy, the CMLA will assemble future leaders with diverse backgrounds to build a strong domestic critical minerals network and contribute to the buildout of critical minerals industries.
The University of Wyoming School of Energy Resources and the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences will celebrate the 12th annual Energy Day — in partnership with Wyoming Sports Properties — on Oct. 11, when the Cowboys take on San Jose State at the War Memorial Stadium.
Each semester the School of Energy Resources hosts its Distinguished Speaker Series on campus. The lunchtime presentations, which are open to the public, feature experts from different fields and backgrounds in the energy field. Check out the events calendar for upcoming presentations.
Save the date for the 2025 Landscape Discussion on Energy law & Policy in the Rockies conference hosted by the School of Energy Resources, the Gina Guy Center for Land and Water in the College of Law, and the Haub School. The conference focuses on energy-related legal, regulatory and policy issues.
