Long-time School of Energy Resources (SER) employee Pam Henderson is retiring after over 20 years of service at the University of Wyoming (UW).

Henderson has worked for the University of Wyoming since 2000 — working for the College of Agriculture Cooperative Extension Service as a Computer Support Specialist before joining SER in 2006.

While at SER, Henderson served as the Academic Advising Manager in the Energy Resource Management and Development Bachelor of Science degree program. In her role, she helped ERDM students navigate their academic experience and provided guidance in securing internships and acquiring employment upon graduation.

Students have often credited Pam as the reason that they chose to pursue an ERDM degree.

In addition to her contributions as an outstanding employee, Henderson is also a proud UW alumna, earning her B.S. in Business Administration in 2004.

“We are so grateful to Pam for keeping SER’s academic program alive,” says SER Executive Director Holly Krutka. “She has changed the lives of countless students and thanks to her efforts, the program is stronger than ever and poised to grow in the future.”

The School of Energy Resources is so grateful for all of the years of service that Pam has devoted to it and wishes her all the best in her retirement!
