School of Energy Resources Welcomes Martha Reisch as Project Specialist

The University of Wyoming (UW) School of Energy Resources (SER) is pleased to welcome Martha Reisch as a project specialist. Joining the team in early March, Reisch is working to facilitate the planning, organization, and implementation of major grant-funded research projects.

“SER project specialists have proven to be major assets in terms of creating and facilitating proposal teams, moving our research awards through negotiations, getting contracts in place, making sure all of the working pieces are in order, and supporting overall project execution.” says SER Senior Director of Research Scott Quillinan. “We are so excited to have Martha join our organizational staff to keep us on track and maximize the efficiency of our research centers.”

Originally from Sheridan, Wyo., Reisch has extensive experience in executive-level administrative and leadership roles throughout the State and within the university. Having spent significant time at the UW Foundation and a period in the UW President’s Office, Reisch most recently served as the Statewide Donor Strategist for Climb Wyoming before moving to the Central Wyoming College Foundation where she served as the Director of Advancement Services and Alumni Engagement for nearly three years. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration as well as a Real Estate Certificate, both from UW.

In her new role, she will continue to utilize her project management and systems thinking talents to assist with contracts, new proposal development, equipment procurement, and general engagement around the SER research program.

She will also interface directly with the UW Research & Economic Development Division (REDD) and General Counsel to serve as the main channel for communication.

“I enjoy project management, organization, and systems, and I am very excited to be back on campus,” says Reisch. “I am even more excited to be working on the ground floor of projects that will have wider impacts in the State. It is so important to have different economic energy resources and the research being conducted at SER influences both the actual industries themselves and trickles down to touch every facet of our lives here in Wyoming.”
