Stoellinger’s research focuses on a broad spectrum of environmental and natural resource law and policy issues, including wildlife conservation, endangered species protection, energy development, and public and private land management and conservation. Her work often emphasizes the unique challenges and opportunities within the greater Yellowstone ecosystem and the American West.
Her talk will focus on the importance of stakeholder outreach from her experience working on the state’s Bureau of Land Management Rock Springs Resource Management Plan task force.
“We have been exceptionally privileged to work closely with Associate Dean Stoellinger over the years,” says SER Director of Outreach Christine Reed. “Her contributions at the nexus of law, energy and the environment have been so important for the education of UW students in multiple departments, and her research has really solidified her status as an expert in the state on topics of federal and public lands and wildlife law. We are excited to hear about some of her research and experiences and how those relate to important topics in energy development and resource management.”
