The University of Wyoming’s School of Energy Resources (SER) is pleased to announce that experienced Senior Operations Engineer Julian Fisher will be the featured speaker in its Distinguished Speaker Series on Monday, April 14.
Fisher is the President of Fisher Engineering and Contracting Inc. and currently serves as a Contract Operations Consultant for Aethon Energy, where he brings extensive expertise in produced water disposal and treatment systems. His presentation will delve into the critical aspects of water management within the oil and energy industry, drawing upon his wide-ranging career in the field.
The free lunch presentation will take place from noon to 1 p.m. in the Encana Auditorium at the UW Energy Innovation Center. This event is part of SER’s ongoing Distinguished Speaker Series and is open to all interested students, faculty, staff, and members of the public.
Prior to establishing his successful consulting firm, Fisher cultivated a robust skillset in natural gas and petroleum operations, product optimization, oilfield technologies, and CO2 sequestration. He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Aerospace Engineering from the University of Manitoba and has previously held positions at Aethon Energy and Hyperion Water Technologies.
