Dana Ramberg
Stable Isotope Facility
Technician

Dana Ramberg is originally from Pinedale, Wyoming, and came to the University of Wyoming on the Trustees’ scholarship for their undergraduate degree in Microbiology and Molecular Biology. They’re a McNair Scholar with a drive to continue their education.
With a passion for bacteria and biofilms, Dana never anticipated becoming an isotope enthusiast but has come to appreciate and seek out clever uses for isotopes in the scientific community.
In the lab, they focus on processing water samples, especially sample water extraction through cryogenic vacuum distillation. However, Dana is actively working toward learning more about the various analysis types to further help in the lab in addition to gaining skills for future work.
