Candice Lackman brings over a decade of experience in public service, case management, and administrative support to her role as Office Associate at the Science and Mathematics Teaching Center. With a dual background in criminal justice and business administration, Candice is known for her exceptional organizational skills, strategic communication, and deep commitment to student and faculty support.
Before joining SMTC, Candice served as a Family Case Manager Supervisor for the Indiana Department of Child Services, where she led crisis response efforts and supervised a team of caseworkers in high-stakes environments. Her career also includes roles in legal advocacy, office coordination, and compliance across various sectors, giving her a unique ability to streamline processes and foster collaborative relationships.
Candice is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at the University of Wyoming, further strengthening her dedication to service and institutional excellence. Her role at SMTC includes managing daily operations, assisting with event coordination, and supporting initiatives that advance science and mathematics education.
