The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Basic degree program at the University of Wyoming does offer a licensure component. A student who is accepted and completes the BSN will be able to apply for a Registered Nurse (RN) licensure examination. Every U.S. State, Territory, and District has their own licensing board for nursing and our institution must meet their requirements for a student to practice in that area. This means even sitting for the RN licensing examination does not guarantee the ability to work in all U.S. areas and/or may require additional courses or field work for a student to obtain the ability to work in the U.S. area of their choice.
