Biography
Rosemary McBride is an assistant Agricultural Education lecturer at the University of Wyoming with a research and state engagement focus on improving and innovating learning environments for rural students, particularly in career and technical education (CTE), agricultural education, and teacher recruitment and retention. Her current research projects involve exploring the impact of socially situated cultures and literacies in CTE settings, examining community-based needs assessments for program design, and investigating the support for transfer and learning in rural community colleges. McBride plans to continue studying special populations' needs in rural areas, utilizing causal design research and qualitative methods, and expanding innovative recruitment and retention strategies for teachers in the state.
