2021-2022 Production SeasonTypically, each year, we produce six main season shows, including four theatre pieces and two dance concerts. Our season offers a lively mix of contemporary plays, the classics and Shakespeare, exciting new works, musicals and operas, and a range of modern dance, ballet, jazz, and vertical dance selections. |

Guest Artist/Eminent Artist SeriesFrom 2008 through spring 2018, the Department hosted an annual Guest Artist Series, and the Eminent-Artist-Residence every third year, with support from the Excellence in Higher Education Endowment through the Wyoming State Legislature. The series featured top-notch professionals in the performance, technical and design, and playwriting fields, who led workshops and master classes for students and who performed. |

2017-2018 Eminent Artists-in-Residence: DANCE THEATRE OF HARLEMThe University of Wyoming Department of Theatre and Dance hosted artists from the Dance Theatre of Harlem, a leading dance institution of unparalleled global acclaim, as our 2017-2018 Eminent Artists-in-Residence. DTH Company members were onsite at UW for two weeks in September 2017, and DTH teaching artists Tai Jiminez and Charmaine Hunter were onsite throughout the fall emester to teach and set works on UW dancers from the DTH repertoire. 2014-2015 Eminent Artists-in-Residence: ACTORS FROM THE LONDON STAGEThe University of Wyoming Department of Theatre and Dance last hosted the Eminent-Artists-in-Residence during AY2014-2015, the celebrated Actors from the London Stage. Members of AFTLS were in residency during spring 2015 for THE SHAKESPEARE PROJECT, in which they set three Shakespearean plays on our students in the AFTLS style. The plays ran twice each March 1 - 6, and a touring group from AFTLS will gave two performances of MACBETH on March 7, 2015. |
