2024-2025 Production Season

Our production season offers a lively mix of contemporary plays, classics and Shakespeare, exciting new works, musicals and operas, and a range of dance selections.  This academic year, we are hosting the Wyoming State Thespian Festival as well as the American College Dance Association High Desert Conference, which will feature Buchanan Center Special Events performances by Secondd City and Urban Bush Women.

Guest Artist/Eminent Artist Series (2011-2018)

From 2008 through spring 2018, the Department hosted an annual Guest Artist Series, and the Eminent-Artist-Residence every third year, with support from the Excellence in Higher Education Endowment through the Wyoming State Legislature.  The series featured top-notch professionals in the performance, technical and design, and playwriting fields, who led workshops and master classes for students and who performed.
