Master of Science in Nursing Degree Program Highlights

100% Online Degree

UW's School of Nursing understands that the MS in nursing program serves a multitude of individuals. Many of our students are currently working as nurses and are returning to university with much busier lives. That’s why our fully online, part-time program is designed to fit your schedule, letting you advance your career without major disruption. We do encourage students to cut back on work or other obligations while in the program.

Students complete a capstone project with the supervision of faculty and a mentor near the end of their program. The success of a capstone project is dependent on early planning between the student, mentor and faculty member. This course provides students with the opportunity to analyze a problem in nursing, apply theory to clients in a clinical setting, or pursue a project of interest under the guidance of a mentor and faculty member.
