What is the BSN Completion Program?
The BSN Completion program at UW is made for students wanting to enhance the knowledge
they already have about nursing. Choose from two options based on your previous schooling*:
- ReNEW: For current Wyoming community college students enrolled in an Associate Degree in Nursing program and graduates who completed the Wyoming ReNEW ADN curriculum.
- RN-BSN: For licensed RNs from non-ReNEW Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma programs.
If you don’t fit the criteria for these options, check out our other nursing degrees!
* Enrollment or graduation from a Wyoming ADN ReNEW program is required for the ReNEW BSN option. An RN license is required for the RN-BSN option.

In addition to being entirely online, BSN Completion classes are given in half-semester increments, making it easier to fit them into your schedule.

In the UW BSN Completion program, you get to work with faculty members who are experts
in the medical field. Like most jobs, nursing careers are constantly evolving and
our program is up-to-date on all the best nursing practices. These are just a few
courses you might take as a BSN Completion student:
- Public/Community Health
- Leadership in Healthcare Today
- Health Equity
- Innovation in Nursing Practice

Online Learning at UW
The University of Wyoming provides a comprehensive range of fully online and hybrid programs in addition to the online BSN completion program. They are equivalent to in-person programs in all the ways that matter – same learning expectations, same accreditation and your transcript doesn’t differentiate how you learned. Additionally, online learners have unique needs, and we provide a suite of academic and student resources tailored to help you succeed while at UW and after you graduate.
