As a student of Social Work, you will:
- prepare to work as a generalist social work practitioner with individuals, groups,
families, organizations, communities, and institutions;
- gain experiences and make connections in social work through internships and attending
conferences in your field;
- gain a solid foundation toward a graduate degree;
- find career opportunities in many arenas, including: child welfare, health care, gerontology,
criminal justice and corrections, youth services, education, nonprofits, mental health,
substance abuse, and victim services.
