UW Extension

Since 1914, UW Extension has helped Wyoming citizens and communities respond to challenges and changes. We have offices in each of the state’s 23 counties and the Wind River Indian Reservation. Although our roots are in agriculture, UW Extension has broadened its educational mission to encompass many of the contemporary challenges facing Wyoming’s people and its rural communities. We’re committed to providing lifelong learning opportunities as we bring the resources of the University of Wyoming home to you!

 

Extension is a cooperative effort between the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Institute of Food & Agriculture (NIFA), land-grant universities, and counties. This partnership is critical to Extension's success with each partner providing funding, expertise, and/or in kind support. Each partner has a role to play in helping build and maintain a strong network of resources that ultimately link expertise from across the country to address Wyoming challenges with solutions that are tailored to meet the needs of our Wyoming residents and communities.
