Non-SWORN STAFF
The University of Wyoming Police Department has 12 non-sworn personnel on it's staff. Non-sworn staff is broken down into three categories.
Five of these positions are full time 911 Emergency Dispatchers which is supplemented with one part time student Dispatcher. Dispatchers complete eight weeks of in-house training with a certified Field Training Officer and then attend two weeks at the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy in Douglas, WY.
Five positions are full time Security Guards who provide building security on campus throughout the day.
One position is dedicated to our Senior Office Associate who manages our budget and other office duties.
