A Space Designed to Accommodate DIVERSE RESEARCH PLANS
Since opening, the UWBF has hosted the University of Wyoming’s massive COVID-19 testing
program, supporting a safe return to campus life in the 2020-2021 academic year. The
lab recently hosted a brucellosis sequencing project to characterize the strains of
Brucella abortus circulating among Wyoming’s elk. The facility’s features offer so many more possibilities
for discovery.
