$10K Team Leader Registration Forms Due – Team leader MUST BE a UW student. Teammates can be added throughout the competition but must be registered by January 31.

$100 Executive Summary Submissions Due

November 8

Semi-Finalists Announced At Noon
Semi-finalists will be selected from the executive summary submissions and move on to the interview process. Semi-finalist teams will be announced on the website.

November 12-16

Screening Interviews
Semi-finalist team leaders will be contacted to set up interview times.

November 20

Competition Finalists Announced
Mentors will be assigned to work with the finalists up to the presentation in February.

December 6

Engineering Senior Design Symposium – Wyoming Union
Senior engineering students present and exhibit the results of their capstone design projects. Students majoring in architectural, chemical, civil, mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering are required to design, and in some cases fabricate a project selected in consultation with their advisers. Each presentation is judged by professionals in the various fields and awards are given for best presentation and best design.

Last Day to Register Team Members

Business Plans Due by 1 p.m.
Finalists will submit their plans to the coordinator in BU 228. Plans can be submitted via email or brought in on disk. Plans will be converted to pdf format and shared with the judges. Plans will not be accepted after 1 p.m.

February 11

Judge Comments and Suggestions Provided to Teams

February 22

$10K Competition
Finalists will present their business plan to a panel of judges. Teams have 20 minutes to present. Teams may use props, PowerPoint, etc.
