Special Considerations When Making An Appointment
Some exams at UW require different scheduling or support. Whether you're arranging accommodations or completing a placement exam, start with the info below to get on track. Please be aware that appointment times, fees, rescheduling, and cancellation policies can vary for every test.

Disability Support Services
Students who need testing accommodations due to a documented disability should work with Disability Support Services. DSS helps coordinate accessible testing environments. For assistance, call 307-766-3073 or visit their office for guidance.
Math Placement Exam
If you need to complete a math placement exam, reach out to the Department of Mathematics & Statistics. They’ll help determine which exam is right for you and how to schedule it. For questions, call 307-766-6831 or visit their site for more details.
Pearson Vue Certification Exams
To register for Pearson Vue Certification exams such as Fundamentals of Engineering (NCEES), Contractors and Trades (ICC), Wyoming Insurance and Real Estate and computer security exams, go to www.pearsonvue.com and start by entering your exam sponsor into the search box. You will then be directed to pages with more information about registering for your specific exam.
GRE, Praxis & TOEFL
For ETS computer-based tests such as the GRE, Praxis and TOEFL, there are no scheduling deadlines but we recommend making an appointment in advance. During the last half of Fall Semester, we recommend making an appointment 3 to 4 weeks in advance. You can register for these exams at the ets.org website.
