Buchanan Lectures

The Buchanan Lecture was established to honor UW President Tom Buchanan, who served the university from 2005-2013. The lecture is delivered by one of UW’s most accomplished retiring faculty members and offers the graduating class, their families, and the university community the opportunity to hear a distinguished retired UW professor distill a life of inquiry, reflection, and service into important guidance for successive generations.
