Students: The Reason We’re Here

Personalized Attention

The College is the right size for getting to know your faculty (10:1 ratio) and receiving personalized attention. You will be a person, not a number.

Small Class Size

Lab and lecture classes are usually no more than 24 students and 50 students, respectively, in your major or minor field of study.

Financial Support

Complete one form for the Brand of Excellence Scholarships. Last year, over $708,775 were awarded to over 279 students in the past. New and continuing students are eligible.

Academic Support

Academic support is offered in three ways: professional academic advising, faculty mentoring, and internship guidance. The team of academic professional advisors are ready to answer your questions!

Experiential Learning

Hands-on learning is available through classes with lab and field experience. Broaden you experience and knowledge base with internships.

Clubs, Organizations and Judging Teams

Take advantage of extracurricular activities, including clubs, competitive teams, professional organizations, honorary societies, and agriculture-related fraternities and sororities. Enhance your resume, gain leadership opportunities, and connect with the Ag and UW communities.

Pathways to Careers and Advanced Degrees

The combined academic experience, extracurricular activities, jobs and internship experiences are excellent pathways to careers. We also offer several pathways to reaching your academic goals in a master’s and doctoral program.
