Why a certificate? The University of Wyoming offers unique programs that deliver skills and the knowledge you need to advance your career and become more valuable to future or current employers. A certificate awarded by UW signifies completion of study in specialized and technical areas related to jobs and professional practice.
What are the requirements and how are the programs delivered? Certificate requirements can range widely and may include coursework, required projects, experiential learning, completion of internships or practica, attendance at meetings or symposia and demonstrated competency.
UW certificate programs are delivered on campus or by distance education methodologies through the Outreach School.
What do we offer? UW offers credit certificate programs and noncredit certificate programs. Credit certificate programs require academic coursework and will carry a designation "University Certificate in...".
