arts degree to students on the Laramie campus, at UW/Casper College Center
in Casper, and at statewide locations through Outreach School.
All Criminal Justice majors are required to complete 120 semester hours of coursework that include 39 hours of criminal justice courses. Of these 39 hours, students are required to complete the required courses that provide the foundation for upper division core classes.
The 2012 required required foundation courses (effective for new students enrolling in the Fall 2012 semester):
In addition to the foundation courses, students are required to complete one course from each of the two core areas of Crime and Deviance and Criminal Justice Institutions and Proceses. The core areas each include several courses from which the student may select.
Finally, all students are required to complete three hours of supporting courses. The course may be chosen from the above listed core areas or from an additional supporting course area.
