Special Ed Institute

  Pre-service teachers enrolled in elementary methods courses expanded their understanding of inclusive classroom practices during the 2004 Special Education Institute. Students participated in a series of workshops exploring ways in which teachers can help all children reach their full potential. Topics included “parent perspectives,” “assistive technology,” “teacher panel, and “modifications/accommodations.” Institute sponsors were the College of Education, the Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education, the Department of Special Education, and the Wyoming Professional Learning Communities.
