Graduate Student Travel Grants

The department provides $300/graduate student per year for Ecosystem Science and Management graduate students to travel to a professional meeting. 

Departmental travel grant requirements:

1. Major advisor approval to attend the meeting;
2. Presentation of an oral or poster paper on research you have conducted in the UW's Ecosystem Science and Management department;
3. Work with ESM Department staff to make funding arrangements;
4. Upon your return, you must fill out a reimbursement form and submit an expense reimbursement request via WyoCloud. 

Advisor- or grant-funded travel

If your travel is being supported by your advisor or a grant, you must enter the budget ID numbers for those funds and the funding amount in the appropriate section in travel request form. Upon your return, you must fill out a reimbursement request using the same budget ID numbers.
