Sigma Chi

Sigma Chi is consistently a top performer in most areas of the Greek Community at the University of Wyoming. One of the best attributes of the chapter, is its diversity. Sigma Chi has members from every region of the United States, and recruits members to keep this tradition alive.

Sigma Chi members have been active on campus at UW, but also around the Laramie community as a whole. They actively participate in the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Big Brothers / Big Sisters of Southeast Wyoming, and the Juvenile Diabetes Association. Members of the Greek system look forward to the annual Sigma Chi Derby Days benefiting several organizations.

Socially, the Sigma Chi's hold two formals every year, one at Christmas and one in the spring.

Sigma Chi's trophy case isn't hurting by any means either. The chapter at UW recently won the Bash Significant Improvement Award, Regional Balfour Award, and the International Balfour Award. Overall, the brothers at Sigma Chi have won 11 Pederson Outstanding Chapter awards.
