A research study conducted by the Center for Advanced Social Research at the University of Missouri (Columbia) produced these findings:

• Membership Will Keep You In School
  Sorority or fraternity members are more likely to stay in college than other students.
   
• Membership = More Success
  College graduates who belong to a fraternity or sorority tend to be more successful financially than other college graduates.
   
• Members Give More
  Research shows that colleges receive more gifts, and in greater amounts, from sorority and fraternity alumni.
   
• Members Are More Active
  Greek student members tend to participate more often in co-curricular campus and community activities than other students. 
   
• Continuing Community Service
  Sorority and Fraternity Alumni take part more often in volunteer organizations and charitable activities than others do after they graduate college. 
   
• Better Experience = Better Value
  Research has shown that Greek alumni rate the "overall value of the college experience" at a higher level when compared to other graduates.
