Order of Omega was founded at the University of Wyoming campus on March 24th, 1981.

Order of Omega has recently been re-established here at the University of Wyoming.  Membership in Order of Omega is a high honor and signifies extemporary scholarship, leadership, and service to the Greek community, the University of Wyoming community, and the Laramie, Wyoming community.  Click here for the national website. 

Hunger Week

As Part of National Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week (November 10- 16, 2012) Order of Omega collected backpacks and non-perishable food items to distribute in the Laramie community. This year, they managed to collect over 50 backpacks to distribute in Albany County! Each year, one week before Thanksgiving, National Coalition for the Homeless and the National Student Campaign Against Hunger and Homelessness co-sponsor National Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week. During this week, a number of schools, communities and cities take part in a nationwide effort to bring greater awareness to the problems of hunger and homelessness.
