UW's Ozone Air Quality Project in Sublette County
UW's Atmospheric Science Department and the ENR program in February 2008 deployed a mobile air quality monitoring laboratory designed to study air quality in the Pinedale area. The new, state-of-the-art facility will collect data to support long term monitoring efforts by the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). The study covers the upper Green River Basin in Sublette County, where high ozone levels have been observed during winter months. This project is being funded by DEQ and UW's SER.
